Esther holds a PhD in cardiovascular disease from the University of Leeds, UK and a BS in Biomedical Sciences from Cardiff University, UK. Before joining Aroga Biosciences, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow with the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Treatment Center, University of California San Diego (UCSD). Esther has a decade of experience in hematology research and is the recipient of a fellowship award from the National Hemophilia Foundation.

Esther has authored 8 peer-reviewed publications and has experience in drafting research proposals, meeting abstracts, research posters, slide decks, nonclinical reports, and INDs. She has gained additional writing experience through voluntary blog writing, writing competitions, a science writing course at UCSD, and has earned her American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) Essential Skills Certificate.

Esther lives in San Diego, California and enjoys hiking and paddleboarding in her free time.
