Sara holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. She conducted her postdoctoral training and worked as an image analysis consultant at the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining Aroga Biosciences, Sara worked as a research scientist in the biotech industry and has experience writing scientific publications, grants, research posters, slide decks, and nonclinical reports. Sara has also completed the Medical Writing Certificate at UC San Diego Extension with a focus on regulatory writing.

Sara lives in San Diego, California and enjoys hiking, growing a butterfly garden, and literacy tutoring in her free time.
